Come Rest. Come Rage. Come Liberate.
“The bodily response can be the alert to what needs to change, or the story (our) body is telling about trauma…I refuse to shame, punish, ignore or discipline my body for telling the truth about what happened to me, moments that somehow linger on in the present through pain and injury. My body is allowed to tell the truth for as long as she needs to.” -Hilary McBride, The Wisdom of Your Body
Therapy can create space for you to tap into both your pain and your power; into what needs to be seen, and how it needs to be held or released. It may involve telling and reclaiming your story, letting your voice out through words or art, and trauma reprocessing; always at a pace that feels right for you and in tune with your body.
My hope is to provide a space where you can tell the truth for as long as you need to. The truth about the way your body carries the pain. The truth about the abusive system or relationships that those around you don’t see. The truth about who you are when you feel totally free, and what you need to thrive.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
_________________________
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Social Worker, trained in EMDR. My passion and experience are in trauma healing, and creating a space for people to tap into their pain, their voice, their desires and their power.
My work has a special focus on those who are survivors of religious trauma, female disempowerment, chronic health conditions, immigration injustice, and the cumulative traumatic stress that can come from navigating this world as queer and/or trans.
I see clients age 14+ in person in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. I offer tele-health therapy for residents of both WA State and the Hawaiian Islands. You can find out more about me on the About Page, and more about trauma therapy on the EMDR Page.
I am not currently taking new clients.
GROUP THERAPY - ADULTS
If you live in WA state or the Hawaiian Islands and are interested in any of the groups listed below, please reach out to me through the contact page. I run these groups based on interest, and keep a waitlist if there is not one currently happening.

Free to Be Me: Queer and Trans Pride
A group for 2SLGBTQIA+ adults, ages 18+.
““Queer, not as being about who you're having sex with (that can be a dimension of it); but 'queer' as being about the self that is at odds with everything around it and that has to invent and create and find a place to speak and to thrive and to live.” - bell hooks
So many of us who are queer, trans, and/or non-monogamous spend our time being questioned about who we are instead of celebrated. We have to move through the world not knowing how much of ourselves we can safely “let out”, and it wears down the soul. This group is for us to be able to become more of who we are in a space that supports, trusts and celebrates us. We will move toward feeling safety and joy in our body through art and community. There is room for you here - just the way you are.

I Belong to Me: Healing Sexuality after Religious Trauma
A group for female/non-binary identified adults, ages 18+.
Every part of you is sacred and good, including your sensuality and sexuality. It took me years to untangle the religious conditioning that told me otherwise. If you grew up in a conservative evangelical context and have struggled to know your body and trust your body, especially in spaces of sexuality, this group is for you. We will move toward feeling safer, feeling stronger and feeling more choice and pleasure in our body; it is your birthright.

Invisible Warriors: Chronic Illness & Pain
A group for all gender adults, ages 18+.
“There is no healthy person as strong as the sick person’s spirit.” - Andrea Gibson
Chronic is its own fight. On top of the pain we feel in our bodies, we are left to face isolation, loss of energy and potential, uncertainty about recovery, and dismissal from the medical industrial complex or even loved ones. This is a group for those facing chronic health challenges to find solidarity, compassion, strategy and the strength to keep going. Whether new to this world or decades in, you are welcome here.
